Centre of Research Excellence New Project Grant

The National Sleep Health Services Research Centre of Excellence was officially launched at the AISH symposium, held at Flinders Victoria Square, Adelaide on the 1stof November 2017.

At the end of October 2017, Flinders University announced it is leading a major new five year, $2.5 million NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence project grant, the “National Centre for Sleep Health Services Research” - Positioning Primary Care at the Centre of Sleep Health Management.  

Congratulations to Chief Investigator Prof Doug McEvoy, along with Prof Peter Catcheside, Dr Ching Li Chai-Coetzer, Dr Andrew Vakulin, Emeritus Prof Leon Lack, Dr Nicole Lovato, Assoc Prof Sutapa Mukherjee and the rest of the CRE Team Members in obtaining the Centres of Research Excellence grant.

This five-year NHMRC project will bring together expertise from the Adelaide Institute for Sleep Health, primary health specialists and health services researchers to redesign, test and reorganise health care practices to better manage sleep problems both in Australia and internationally.
