About AISH
The Adelaide Institute for Sleep Health (AISH) provides a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and management of sleep disorders.
Established in 1992, the unit is situated within the Repatriation General Hospital. AISH provides a priority service for Entitled Veterans, but is open to all public and private patients aged 18 years or older.
The sleep unit is affiliated with the Flinders Medical Centre and Flinders University, and provides a private sleep services at Ashford Hospital.
Accredited by the Australasian Sleep Association and the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand, the sleep laboratory offers a 7-bed facility equipped with state-of-the-art patient monitoring facilities.
The AISH team consists of a highly qualified and experienced team of physicians, sleep technologists and scientific staff that provide diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea and other sleep disorders.
AISH has an active clinical and basic science research program with special emphasis on sleep breathing disorders and insomnia.
