Sleep apnea cardiovascular endpoints study (SAVE)

AISH is a key member of he SAVE Project; an international multi-centre, randomised controlled trial to determine the effects of nasal continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) in preventing cardiovascular (CV) disease in high risk patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).

SAVE represents a pivotal research programme involving sleep and CV medicine experts aimed at producing high level evidence to inform clinical decision making and future health policy in a large and increasing area of global disease burden.

SAVE is one of the first projects to commence supported by the Australasian Sleep Trials Network (ASTN).
